Pay it Forward Scholarship, founded in 2010, is incorporated under the laws of the State of Georgia, is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and is recognized by the Georgia Department of Education as a qualified student scholarship organization (SSO) under Georgia law. 

Pay it Forward Scholarships provides scholarships to Pre-K through 12th grade students attending accredited private schools in Georgia. Pay it Forward Scholarships is the largest, most effective and efficient scholarship organization in Georgia that distributes scholarships on an equal basis.

In 2023, Pay it Forward Scholarships has access to $120 million dollars in Qualified Education Expense Tax Credits to distribute to Georgia taxpayers who donate a scholarship to any private Pre-K through 12 school of their choice in Georgia. Taxpayers will receive a dollar-for-dollar Georgia Qualified Education Expense Tax Credit and can claim the donation as a federal charitable deduction.
